Went to the science centre ytd and it's so freaking far! Even with like car. Nothing especially interesting there so I don't really have anything to blog about ytd just that we went to watch this show inside about climate change which lasted for about 18 mins. Unfortunately for me, this bunch of like lower sec students from dunno what god forsaken school in the West came and sat behind me. There weren't even enough seats and they refused to split so a couple sat on the floor which meant that they were directly behind me. Throughout the ENTIRE film, they were just talking away non stop and not in whispers mind you but really loudly in the ahlian ahbeng way. Like the theatre wasn't very big and no one else was talking so it was just them and their noisy chatter and they even used a few bad words when there were so many kids around! Super pissed off at them so I Shhh-ed them a few times. I mean like if you don't wanna watch, don't come in la! Then the only thing you can say about this film (which is carrying a pretty impt msg) is "Na ge sheep hen cute hor." And stupid insignificant things like that. Like girl said " Wo de watch shi Baby-G okay!". Then boy 1 said "So..wo de shi CAASIO lorrr" And boy 2 would say "WO DE SHI SSEEIIKO LOORRR".

wtf.Irritating anot you tell me.

And then the ending was the BEST cause the girl behind me made a very stupid comment.The cartoon sheep was stuck on the moon and like wanted to make it's way down to earth on this ladder but then it like fell la. Then the girl was like "CHEH! Wo hai yi wei you 3G effect de leh then mei you...." VERY CONFIDENTLY.

Then the boys were like "3D la 3G!". I guess that was the best comment throughout the entire movie because I was laughing so hard and I didn't try to hide it cause I wanted to embarrass her also.

Anyway, Mar, gee and I swam 8 whole laps today! Very proud of us we are gonna lose some fat. But I think it's not really counted la cause we like kept stopping after a few strokes and the 2 of them kept laughing at me because apparently I can't swim straight. I will swim in like a diagonal line. haha i suck but no goggles what then how!!

Went to Hard Rock Cafe after that to celebrated Renee's birthday which was ytd. I ordered the same thing as I did the other time I went there..some grilled chicken breast thing. Music was good! I love the songs they play there and the live bands are like really professional and awesome!

Today was medical checkup day! Went to Raffles Medical at Changi Airport for my pre-admission into SMU checkup. It was actually faster than I'd expected like one hour plus only! I had to do a urine test for the first time in my life and I was damn excited because I like trying out new things=) Lucky godma was there to guide me. Small tips like "wrap toilet paper around the container" and "use the squatting toilet instead" really helped. If she wasn't there I would have made a mess and like totally corroded the container with pee or something. In the end I managed to fill the container almost to the brim=) so proud of myself! I later found out that actually, I only need to fill like abit.........but the more the merrier right!=)

Then went to take my height and weight, eye test, and x-ray! My first time doing x-ray as well! I was abit frightened and asked my godma if it would hurt but well it didn't. And I have a cool x-ray picture of my chest! So the results of all the tests was transferred onto this form which I'm supposed to bring to SMU dunno when. And yes, I'm perfectly normal.

Signing up for highway code thingy tmr with anne and clare and then going ice skating with them at Kallang!Tmr is going to be an eventful day yayness.

Anyway I watched "The island" today. (the dvd I bought at the popular bookfair) It's damn awesome. Everybody should watch that movie because I believe what was portrayed there is gonna become reality in the near future so it's good if we start thinking of issues like that now and take a stand!

I was about to start this post by saying that this blog is really dead but then again i ALWAYS seem to begin with that sentence (because it's true!) so i'm not gonna do that (think i just did though). Everybody, just watch this space for random updates.

Sooo...I'm done with working at the childcare cause my contract has ended and as much as I wanted to extend it, i figured that this remaining 2 mths or so will some sort of a "me time" where I get to live for me! Like hanging out with ppl i love on some days and staying at home on others while I read a book, use the com, watch tv or help Claire brush up with school work. Have to re energize myself before starting the school term which I am pretty excited about! Abit apprehensive but veering more to the excited side! This is kind of the last stage in life where I will make my last batch of friends (said Ke Ming or...somebody else can't rmb) but don't worry! I'm intending to keep all my old ones as well=)

I have been out most of the days the past few days and have come to a realisation that i'm almost spending 3 times as much as i used to make in a day! Must.stay.at.home. Went to singapore expo today where it was holding 3 diff sales simultaneously! Matt and I went to the John Little's one first and when i first entered I excitedly grabbed the big silver bag for you to store your shopping stuff because right at the door was the SHOE SECTION! Charles and Keith were selling their shoes pretty cheaply but there wasn't anything appealing save these pair of flats. Sadly, they only had stocks for size 36 left. Anyway, I'm glad there weren't any 40s left cause they aren't that nice..just like in a moment of impulse kinda thing. It always happens to me when i see S.A.L.E ! Then there were these black and white pair of pedro shoes which I tried (after waiting and praying that the woman before me wouldn't buy it and she didn't cuz it was too big for her but the stupid salegirl tried to shove paddings into it so it would fit better but it didn't haha loser salesgirl i wanted to kill you.) and then it fit me even though it was a size 41 BUT then matt told me that the heels were too high and that my legs look like pork chops in them, so I reluctantly gave it back. The thing is I wouldn't know if he was lying (cause i'd naturally be taller if i wore them out with him!) since there weren't any mirrors! Isn't that ridiculous! I know it's a sale but SO WHAT. It's only a sale because these stores have left over stock cuz nobody wants to buy them except me because that cursed 4 letter word causes me to grab things on impulse even if i don't really like it. So the least thing they should do is have mirrors around so that girls can see how fabulous their legs look in those shoes so that their boyfriends won't trick them into thinking that they are really ugly right! Then like that nobody would even buy their leftover shoes and then Mr pedro would have to grind them and stir them in his porridge or something.

Or maybe my legs really look like pork chops lor.

SO WHAT.

Moving on, everything else in that place was not as appealing but since i had to get something, I bought a small charles and keith bag. And i also asked matt to put back the big silver bag cause there was nothing to put in it.

Then went to the food fair and I swear singaporeans love food man. It was like doubly crowded lor. But there wasn't anything to buy also la cause it's mostly frozen food that family people buy and since I don't have a family of my own yet, I bought a cup of corn. (Mar: Kam kong.hahaha!) Nothing interesting except that i saw this women who had like gold hair (think fur.think poodle) and i seriously thought she was a mascot for one of the food stalls. haha like singa the lion or something. I continued to see her at the popular bookfair and outside 7-11 and on the way out to the bus stop. HAHA. Bought a novel, 2 dvds and a camping tent. Camping tent because it was on offer (see what i mean by "impulsive"?) and because the last time me and matt had a picnic, we had to squeeze into a tiny PLAY TENT for 3 year olds to jump in and play with colourful pastic balls. It was a bad experience. The good news is the next time we can even invite people (not children) because this tent fits 4 people! And it's 4 people lying inside so we can invite more if it's just a picnic cuz we will be sitting inside! Very excited. I hear the potatoes at ntuc calling out to me.

So that's all the junk that i bought today and i'm so glad i'm staying indoors tmr because i can't keep up with this everyday what with the gss and all. On a happier note, I'm gng back to the childcare to help out for an hour plus on thursday! Apparently they are bao-ing zong zi on that day so maybe they need more ppl cuz it'll be messy! Happy to get to see them again=)

On a sadder note, I'm still abit flu-ey and i've phlegm travelling from my throat to my nose thus i'm blowing out alot of green shit. and it's annoying.
